Shapeless

An experimental documentary based on the filmmaker’s own life and the experience of coming out to their father. Featuring the filmmaker themselves, the film traces memories, family relationships, and questions of self-identity, searching for the contours of the self. Moving between reality and reconstruction, past and present, it explores how we understand ourselves and come to terms with our own identity.

自身の人生と父親へのカミングアウトをめぐる記憶をもとに描く実験的ドキュメンタリー。本人自身が出演し、過去の記憶や家族との関係、自己認識をたどりながら、自分自身の輪郭を探る。現実と再現、記憶と現在を行き来し、アイデンティティと自己との向き合い方を描く。
