Anders Emblem

Born in 1985 in Ålesund, Norway, Emblem earned a bachelor's degree in Film Studies from the University of Oslo. He has worked as a film researcher, traveled extensively around the world, and also worked as a social worker. In 2018, he made his directorial debut with Hurry Slowly, set against the stunning natural landscapes of Norway’s west coast. The story follows Fiona, who lives with her younger brother. Her days are filled with ferry commutes to work, caring for her autistic brother, and playing acoustic guitar as a personal hobby. The film quietly captures Fiona’s calm, uneventful summer and the subtle rhythms of her daily life._JAP_アンダース・エンブレム。
